AHHHH! SO ANTICLIMACTIC! There were those shells of metroid prime scattered all over, and i was like omg it grew or there are like 3 of them now, and then you fight a stupid brain (lol irony) after putting away dark samus, who was just plain cool but not that difficult. I was expecting aura 313, modified and made into like meta-mother brain, then dark samus, then I thought dark samus would like fall apart and it would be ZOMGZOR SHE WAS METROID PRIME AND IT'S BACK TO KILL YOU! But it wasn't to be.... Ended up with wack-a-mole. lol.

It is AU 313, but I'm guessing that Metroid Prime gained its abilities from that Phaaze Planet, and that was probably how Dark Samus was able to take control of the planet and any other creature infected with Phazon energy, because it was created from Super Phazon that Metroid Prime created. Who knows? Maybe Dark Samus was Metroid Prime and with its last attack, it created a Phazon copy of itself, in the image of its destroyer, aka: Samus Aran? There are a lot of possibilities as to what happened to Metroid Prime and why Dark Samus was able to find Phaaze. Wait! Metroid Prime found its way to the Leviathan Seed in the first game, and gained power by absorbing the red Phazon and different machines. If thats accurate, than maybe Metroid Prime was Dark Samus and that Metroid Prime was the first to be empowered, and enslaved, by the powers of Phazon and the very source of it, Phaaze.

you see? there were prime carcasses, AND that hand that shot out of metroid prime's weird cell shape in 1, it was your hand in the phazon suit basically. and metroid prime could absorb the abilities of anything it touched according to the space pirate logs, so yeah... especially since on phaze there were all those metroid eggs and nests, thus prime was there first.

i still thought that planet name was kinda crappy... i mean..come on...the planet were the phazon originated was called phaze? wow how long did it take them to come up with that one. or the space pirate homeworld was just...space pirate home world.

1. It's Phaaze not Phaze 2. You have a point; If these guys too so much time making all those up-grades to your gear, your ship, and your abilities in Hypermode, they could've made something more plausible than Pirate Homeworld. Then again, it would seem obvious that Space Pirates are always high-tech warriors that will do anything for power, and they don't exactly have any other species identity than "Space Pirate". The whole Phazon/Phaaze thing is way too obvious, but I guess some gamers were hoping for a planet of Phazon to be named more uniquely like the first place you fought the Metroids, aka: SR388.
