:( my wii broke...i was in the middle of playing mario kart and it started buzzing really loudly, out of nowhere.
i paused, ejected the game, and took a look... there is a scratch that goes the entire way around the disc, about a quarter inch in.
called nintendo, i'm no longer under warrantee, so it's gonna cost $80+.
they're gonna fix the wii and replace mario kart, so i figured i'd just keep playing and ignore the loud noise...
then it got louder and it just stopped working completely... sucks...
wierd thing is, it happenned right after i downloaded the new "Nintendo Channel"...

oh and that scratch thing happened to my friends call of duty
but thats cuz hes retarded and left the disk in while he moved it

lol, the wii channel isnt a wii killer. you just had a weird thing, cause if it was a wii killer, then nintendo would know of the problem and it would be a free fix. and i looked it up and theres no reports of people having the problem.

no, the scratch wasn't all that bad, but then the drive just stopped spinning....
soo.... the scratch didn't make it unplayable, but the actual problem did

but the scratch should screw it up to some extent
my friends game said unreadable every time he put it in

yeah, they said they wouldn't replace the game at first because the wii is no longer under warrantee, but i kinda talked them into it a little bit... made them feel bad that i just bought the game and it might not work anymore. so they had me send it in anyway. it may or may not get replaced/fixed, but it's still worth a try
