My first Suggestion, moderate the Pub more. Currently I see little difference between that and the spam lounge. Get rid of all pointless spam posts. This would make the Pub a better General Section, make it cleaner, and make it and the spam lounge more worth while.
Add a Moderator Complaint Section, for what ever reason if someone wants to complain about a moderator for some reason. Thread Locking, Offencive Post, ext. They can do it in a non-trolling way which hopefully the mods are mature enough to listen to and not troll back. The forum is small and the moderators are lax on there jobs so it would probably never be used but, its a good thing to have; just in case. Better idea would be making it a subsection of the Suggestion/Feedback Section which we are currently posting under.
Add a General World News Section and reword the Daily News Grouping, First off some of the stuff in the Daily News Grouping makes little sense why it is there. Why isn't Videos in the General Discussion Group? You could make a new Group of General Forum Information which contains the 'Big Announcements', 'Introduction', 'Suggestion/Feedback', and if my idea of the Moderator Complaints section goes through add that up there too. That would leave the Daily News Group to actual Daily News. Daily News group would now have the 'Poll of the Day', 'VG News', 'User Info/Updates', and if you like the idea 'World News'. The World News section would be a place to add news about current events and politics, post your views and opinions and hear the views of others without trolling.
(Funny how the Official Guild Forums Forum Troll is staying things about a safe trolless environment on some things)
Last and Probably the Least, an idea on what the hell to do with the Maple Story Section. My idea is to make a new section called 'MMO's and PC Multi-player'. This section will be a place to talk about MMO's they found/play and discuss other multi-player... things. For the games that become popular or were popular make them subsections, such as the Maple Story Section.
Well what do you guys think, I want honest opinions not people bullshitting around being all nice, fake, and shit. I do not mind constructive criticism or someone out right saying my ideas suck.

it would be empty most of the time

it seems more complicated than its worth, i like the news idea but not the putting a bunch in one

mmo section sounds good, but seriously nobody here really posts about those. at all XD
