well, since i seem to suck at being able to find stuff on the internet, i want you guys to help me find something...
in mario kart, i used to be able to pick from courses that weren't regularly available for online play. on my old ds lite, i installed a special firmware that made the ds run a flash cartridge, inserted into the gba slot, as if it was in the ds slot. without that firmware, i needed a special card to go in the ds slot to tell the ds to read the gba slot as the ds slot. it was important to have it flashed (special firmware installed) because that way, i could have a real ds game in the ds slot.
to get a different selection of ds courses, i had a special file on the flash cart in the gba slot that booted up mkds along with the extra information necessary.
my issues: my old ds broke, and then was stolen. my new ds is not flashed and i don't want to do it/deleted the file on my computer that had the firmware. i want to find a way to pick a custom list for online courses, but i can't find anything about it anywhere.
