Already possible Wii to DS connection?"A really weird secret button has been found in the upper left corner of the Nintendo DS Wi-Fi Connection configuration screen. It doesn't mention Wii, but suggest it's a secret function to connect to a Wii. Come on inside for a video demonstration.As you see in the video, the configuration screen has a very odd secret button with no mention of Nintendo Wii but the system asks the player to press a "Simple Start Wi-Fi Button" which doesn't exist on any Nintendo device, nor any other device for that matter. Could this be the way you link up to the Nintendo Wii? Perhaps a new firmware update will make the button visible, but it's weird they included it at all if so. Perhaps it's just a mistake from Nintendo's part but it's definitely not a simple bug. It seems likely they put it there to able to test the connectivity on final units. Unfortunately, nothing has been spoken about a "Simple Start Wi-Fi Button", and the entire hardware design is known, but it could of couse have been non-final models. Another thing is that I dont see why Download Play wouldn't work to link it up to a Wii. Really strange stuff indeed, but maybe it's to connect to the internet through a Wii rather than link up to it to exchange content? So it could be like a replacement for the Wi-Fi Connector, wireless routers or hotspots, or rather a compliment to." its not 4 a wii, its 4 a japanese extra wifi connection. u kno how when u serch theres 3 ways 4 a connection?(router ,conncter,hotspot) well the japanese ds's they can see taht secret button.its another way of cnnectiin 2 wifi | ||
