The only game that sparks my interest again and again has gotta be this one. You leave your hometown for new prospects in a cab, with Kapp'n the Ferryfrog, who led you to Animal Crossing Island in the GC version. You soon realise that 1. you're not a train, and 2. there's no station... where wil K.K. play his songs...!?!? I'll get to that one l8er. The basics are pretty much the same, you do some work to pay off part of your debt at Nook's Kranny, and have a house as small as a shed, both of which can be made bigger and better as you go through the game. There are a few new things to worry about though... New Fish, new bugs, and the fact things are way bigger than you thought they would become. Besides that, you'll meet a few new characters to the game. Harriet the barber, (you get her when you upgrade Nook's into Nookington's) Brewster the coffee bartender at the Roost, which you'll find in the Ba t of the Museum (you heard me), Celleste the observatory owner, and the annoying insurance salesman, and friend of Redd's, Lyle. Two big things that have changed, are the addition of two new items, the Slingshot and the watering can, and their golden counterparts. You'll need a Rolodex to keep track of everything, 'cause there's more things to do, especially with wi-fi. Enjoy!
