no im not but im still trying thats the difference

If you got a multitrack recording program you could also record track by track, then stack them all together one by one and you will have a song.  For example you would start with the drums as a track, record and/or make that, then place that on the track.  Then the next best step would be go for the bass, record that and add it as a track.  Guitar, then so on, depending on how much tracks you want.
Kabal

That doesnt seem like something you could google and find easily. . . How would you go about finding a program like that?
Shas'o Keljel

Mac has something that comes with it automaticly if I remember... or you buy it... or program it yourself.... or you know what to look up on the internet.
Kabal

Nah I see it this way. . .

1. start a band
2. have a friend who cant play an instrument or sing do the electronics!

Only thing that sucks is I dont know anyone who wants to be in a band or do electronics for one.

Yea Garage band could work that comes with macs.  Here's a whole list of ones.

A decent bit of them are freeware or shareware so those should work, and the demo's will last you a little while before you have to pay.  But if you just google Mutlitrack recording you should get a crap load of decent results.  And if any arent free just torrent them, that's what I do.  Personally I use Adobe Audition, it's a few hundred dollars, or in my case.. free!  Anything you want in life can be stolen off the internet.  ;D

how do you torrent something (I know what it is, softof, but I don't know how to do it.)? I tried putting the URL of something in Limewire and using that to download them but they failed. Is there some right way I'm not doing?
