Don't bother picking up a PS3, PS4 is right around the CORNAI saw this on TV and got an article from the internet. xD
In response to some fairly bogus claims by an "analyst" last week, Sony has come out of the woodwork to state that yes, it is indeed planning to build a PlayStation 4, but not until at least 2010. Therefore, by taking this quote completely out of context, we have deduced that there's a mere three year wait for some next-next-gen goodness, which can be easily tide over by FFXII, GTA and SotC. However, were we to actually do our job, we would let you know that in the interim Sony is planning on firmware upgrades for the PS3 to expand media center capability, allow third party applications, and to support third party controllers similar to that of the Wii. "To say that there will be no PS4 because of a management change is a bit far fetched," says Paul Holman. He also went on to mention the possibility of a keyboard and mouse bundle with the PS3, predict at least 20 new games for the European PS3 launch, and to tout that schmancy Cell processor under the hood. We're standing by for a PR cleanup crew any moment now.

well what the heck, all that means is we aren't leaving the gaming industry and we're gonna show you a ps4 in the works at e3 2010... and 4-5 years after the ps3 release its gonna come out. *cough a new system comes out EVERY 4-5 YEARS cough* and mouse and keyboard>joystick. but its kinda funny since the wiimote>mouse and keyboard and the ps3 controller threw in a half baked motion sensor instead of rumble. if i wanted to play an fps with awesome controls i'd use a pc or a wii, not a supposedly so great console pretending to be one of those. /rant.

I hadnt, i mean come on, no one KNows whats gona happen, its the first year, the xbox 360 had a shity list of games the first year, i mean it doesnt matter really, the wii is owning both the ps3 and 360 in sales, and microsoft says that they dont consider the ps3 a threat at all, they said the wii is most formitable, thats saying alot right there.and also no affence or anything, but its going to be REALLY hard for the ps3 to get up to the 360 and wii, its now doing worse than the xbox 360 in japan, and japan is were they were making there high sales. the psp had a shity list of games the first year, and the ps3 did, the wii actually had a list,small list, like the ps3 does, and the 360 did, and the psp did, but it will get bigger like all systems will, im just saying it is WAAAAAAAAAY too early to give up hope on a system, but the wii DOES have a good list of games

and the VIRTUAL console is alone a good idea

the list will go on and on in the future! and i mean..come on, that IS bigger than alot of the first year launches in the past...except a couple come out next year but still, there somthing to look forward too

thats all i know, (again not a ps3 fan)
and the 360....it has way to many to count! the ps3 is good for sony fans because it gets some 3rd party titles that are on the 360, but also enjoy sony games, thats all i can say, but give the wii much more credit than it seems like youre giving it. that list of games is impressive, also kabal, you are a big sony fan add to that list of games cause i have no clue. anyways, i think nintendo learned from there mistake with the GC and there pretty much treating the wii like a giant DS, so yeah, thats why i know nintendos doin good
also to combats icy's rant home is just a slightly spicyer version of 2nd life and 2nd life sucked

i mean, a long time ago, i thought the ps3 was gona rock, i actually belived it, then i saw the lack of games, lack of great exclusives going to the 360, that right there is another reason i love the wii, exclusives that couldnt possibly go on the 360, rayman raving rabids went to the 360 and guess what? it sucked, the wii version didnt, thats why rayman 2 is a nintendo exclusive. but when it comes down to games with high power that the ps3 and 360 can handle, the 360 generally has...better stuff, all my friends that were big sony fans are now 360 fans because they think the ps3 sucks. my friend evan only keaps his ps3 because he wants 1 game. but he says after he beats it hes selling it.
i thought the ps3 was gona be great! and i thought the wii was going to suck, but then the next year at E3 my thoughts on the wii were lookin great, because they actually made it work, they did! you couldnt possibly think how it would work! but they did, my thoughts of the ps3 stayed the same, but dissapeared about a month before it came out when all the specs and games were anounced.

PC (Can Play anything that was made for any system using emulations) > Wii or X-box 360 (If you like FPS's 360 is better, if not then its Wii) > (Other system) > Super Nintendo > PS3

yeah really lol, but for 360, there are alot of games that are also made for the pc, gears of war fo instance, that game is now for the pc, and in a coupel years, there will be halo 3 for the computer.

well you have to see the effort, that i was trying to explain my reasons with out bashing sony. perfect example how I seem like bashing sony when explaining my reasons for sticking with the wii and the xbox 360.
alos for that L.S.G, when i saw that in a post of youres i thought you edit my post because of that.
well there was a guy that did it to me so im out of the clear..i edit my post but yeah, its in one of the mario galaxy posts i put. i thought it was shas...because one of the edits were making fun of the fact that i said halo 3 would be on the computer somday, and i was being bashed for saying that.. i was like wtf? so i thought it was shas because i know he doesnt like halo

It wasn't him. The person responsible has agreed to avoid this type of stuff from now on. He didn't mean to come off as a prick with no sense of decency, though he sorta knew it would happen that way. None of you guys did it, and despite his promise to be nicer, he said he won't post his identity to anyone, and you won't see his handiwork again.
