Hey all. Here is my review for FF7 dirge of cerberus for the playstation 2.

As most of you know, this is a follow up to one of the best games ever, final fantasy 7. The story takes place three years after sephiroths death, and is centered around vincent valentine and his past. So far, I have seen a few familiar faces, and it really brings back some memories.
Gameplay: This game is kind of bland when it comes to gameplay. It plays alot like devil may cry, but offers nothing else except the use of materia. You can customize your guns, and use up to three guns, and are able to switch between them instantaneously. You can also use melee attacks, which come in handy when you run out of ammo.
Story: So far the story doesnt really have anything to do with FF7 except the characters. A group called deepground has emerged from the ruins of midgar, bent on destroying the world. Vincent must stop them, digging deeper into his past along the way.
Sound: The music is pretty good, except it can get a little repetitive. Dont really know what else to say about that lol.
Overall this is a pretty good game, but can get boring really quick. I have not completed it yet, but so far i am enjoying it.
Rating: 7.5
The reason being it is bland in gameplay creativity, and it could have been much more creative. But other than that, it is a pretty fun game.
