wow. i just played it last night and i think it blows!

i wasn't at all impressed by the first 2 and i think even the original was better. the gun controls are kind of cool now that you can use the new shoulder buttons, i'll give it that. but no matter what level of sensitivity you put the right stick at, it never feels right. i played james bond agent under fire on gamecube a little later and enjoyed it much, MUCH more. and graphics are at best on par with halo 2.

all that makes this game good are the stupid little extras put in that only the fans will like, and those don't even come with the regular price.

the hype far exceeds the quality.

and i purposly didn't put in a "haven't played" choice because, like me, you shouldn't judge until you've played it.

lol wow. but just because the hype exceeds the quality doesn't mean the game is condemned to suckage. honestly that game was as hyped as a high budget hollywood movie. we're talking harry potter hype here. you can't live up to that. and i hated the gamecube bond games but that's just opinion.

well i for one think its the best out of the 3, i dont like the halo story, so im mostly in it for the muiltiplayer cause thats fun as hell. but really? 1st is better?! BULL CRAP. ok for 1. the graphics, are just gorgous, i mean really really really good. it has more vehicles, old guns, awsome new guns, new maps, hell you can even create youre OWN map, new modes of play plus old modes and styles. how can you like the 1st one better? I love this game for the muiltiplayer, story i wouldnt givc 2 shits about the story i dont give a crap. new gernade, forgot about that. lol

it shows in gameplay comparison 1,2, then 3, and 3 is highly more detailed
also the controls are extremly great and good because if they wernt i wouldnt be able to hit a GUY in clear across the sand pit(i think thats what its called) level with the spartin lazer wich is the pretty much the hardest weopon to use.

also im not a halo fan boy, lol, just sayin i just really like the muiltiplayer thats all. its amazing

ONCE AGAIN, just because something gets more hype than the highest budget hollywood films could DREAM of living up to, doesn't mean it sucks for not living up to the hype. halo 3 outdid spiderman 3 if you look at the gamespot review. i didn't know that the first time i made this comment. also I think the first may have been the best depending on your opinion, TWO was the overhyped and underdone one. Come on, half the stuff they promised, jackal shields, pelicans, YEAH RIGHT. three owns one in terms of online multiplayer, because one lacked that convenience. (1 probably had best sp)

3 Because its average gameplay and Bungie was smart enough to use the Unreal 3 Engine. (Every bloody FPS uses that engine and those graphics now) But besides that, over hyped, too many fanboys, and its just your average game with average multiplayer.

If you don't believe me about the Graphic and Game Engine, look up Unreal Tournment 3 (2007), Bioshock, Gears of War, and hell almost any new FPS worth its salt.

i belive you, although i dont think it uses unreal 3 engine, it might because it can go into 3rd person veiw with some of the weopons, but all i know is it uses Havok wich is awsome. and the muiltiplayer. not really the same, i like halos muiltiplayer because really...all you need to do is play it for like....a day and you could probly master it. unless you cant aim worth shit. its a slow paised game with tons and tons of customizable modes.

graphics>wii and a TON of the lazily developed games *cough stupid licensed garbage cough*, i definitely thought it was above average although not vastly superior and everything, that's why i gave it a 4. (maybe it's a 7.5-8/10, and if you have friends that play, as in all of my friends almost lol, then an 8.5)

I heard some good things, but also some bad (and pretty major) things about it too. For one, the campaign friendly AI are RETARTED, they can't shoot worth shit and if you let them drive, they'll send you straight towards the enemy to get shot at (You're better off with newbs/n00bs). Also, I heard the campaign as a whole is so satisfying (except maybe the ending.) Also, I heard it's bascily Halo 2 but better-looking. But I don't have the game so i can't put in my thoughts.

lol i thought this topic was dead. everybody trashes games like this because nobody cares about story anymore. its not halo 2, you finish the fight. but the multiplayer yeah. there are some definite improvements and the melee system has been suckified (hey no more bxr at least), but if you liked halo 2 you'll like this more and if you hated it you'll call this the most overrated product ever made.
