i beat mario galaxyyes, and all it took was 7 hours after school! lol, i got off of school at 3:05 and played it from 3:40 to 10:16, beat it with 60 stars, now to get ALL the stars wich will take atleast 2 more days...maby more. considering its supposed to take 30-40 hours to get ALL the stars

:/ wow. i ran, then came home and was like PROTEIN, then messed around a bit, studied for physics then studied more and showed a friend battalion wars (one close loss, had less casualties but less points than the other player, and two total routs of the opposing army). then registered for SATs, and you're gonna tell me that in the time it took me to do a bunch of random stuff, YOU BEAT AN ENTIRE GAME????? lol always ZOMG I GOT TEH GAME and then one day later before i even have it yet ZOMG I BEATZ TEH GAME. haha i guess if the hour and a half i wasted was devoted to mario and getting mario i might have seen how you did that but still..

yeah i guess so, like i said, not 100% only have 60 of the 121 stars, i played this game NONSTOP, intell it was time to go to bed, when i first got it i got 20 stars after playing it for about 4 hours, then after school yesterday i sat down and played it all the way to about 10 oclock. so i beat the game with 60 stars, and now it is time to get ALL of the stars, because if you beat the game with all 121 stars, you can play as luigi, which has different abilitys in his jump, and etc.

You need to get Luigi to get the last star in the game and you get that by going to the last level and collecting 100 purple coins.

yeah thats what ive read, im almost done with the game, i just need to complete 2 areas and like.. 1 more bonus level to get 100%

ok i beat mario galaxy on 100%, there is now 121 stars, all you do is get 120, beat the game, and the option to play as luigi apears on youre file screen, but when you switch, he has a clean slate, so basicly you get to go threw the whole game if you want as luigi, only in youre file though

Yeah.. I meant to say there IS no 121 stars, only 120. You just can play as Luigi in a sub file on your file. Basically your own file holds 2 story modes, 1 which is Luigi, other Mario.

By the way, I got all 120 stars! I just have to beat Bowser one more time to get to play as Luigi! The Purple Comets were annoying as hell, though. My best tip to give those who are having trouble getting all the purple coins: You only need 100!

well lokker, Some 100 coins only have 100 coins, some have 150 and you gota collect 100 out of that in a time, the most anoying one was like..collect 100 coins in a minute, those ones are anoying

I think the most annoying coin mision was the dreadnaught lol.
I got Luigi, but he skids too much :P

the dreadnot coin mission was my last star before i got 100%, that was anoying as heck, but the most anoying was the one at the ghost level, collect 100 coins of the 150 in 1 minute. the trick with that one is to go around in a big circle then go into the middle to collect the last of the coins you need

I just got the main 104 stars and I'm on my way to beat Bowser and get the initial 105 stars before the Purple Comet appears.

You're wrong! The Grand Finale Galaxy exists and can be accessed by taking the Green Launch Star to the Trial Planet and finding the fourth green Luma on it (He's on the the side opposite to the orange warp pipe). I have the 121st star and if you don't believe me, I'll send the special photo/photos that you obtain by completing the Grand Finale Galaxy with either Mario or Luigi!

If you have a Wii, you can register my FC so I can send those pictures that feature Mario and Peach together or Luigi and Rosalina together. Personally, Mario and Peach seem to be on the starting planet of Good Egg Galaxy, while Luigi and Rosalina seem to be at the Grand Finale Galaxy, near the very start of the level.

You have to get all 120 stars with Luigi AND beat Bowser again to unlock Grand Finale. After you do that both Mario and Luigi can access the Galaxy by going to the trial planet (the one you need the three green stars to reach). There will be a fourth Luma that's opposite to the orange warp pipe that will launch you to Grand Finale.
