I got it! woot! its so awsome, ive been playing for like....3 hours and only got 20 stars, i played from 6 to now, 20 stars, 2 big boss fights.
theres a boss fight with bowser. OMG!!! its soo amazing! that right there will make any mario fan love this game, my brother watched me play it and he was all like....ok this game is now more awsome than it already is.
because 1, its orchistrated, 2, it was like a level from mario 64 with gravity tricks, and bowsers level theme music from mario 64, and the fight with bowser is even more awsome

Just wait, they may list a lot of the powers in the Instruction Booklet, there's one power up that they don't list. The only thing you need to know is that you get this one from a special Star. This, literally, one-of-a-kind star allows you access to the power-up that appears in certain areas.

its that flight cap thing, you can only access it in 2 levels though..actually 1 level, 1 is a 100 coin thing, and the other is in the hub world.

Technically it isn't a cap, it's a star that only appears when you obtain the rare, red Power Star. I do agree that it sucks that you can't use it in other areas, but if you've noticed, it kinda unbalances the game if you could avoid using Launch Stars to reach other areas. The idea is pretty cool though, the ability to fly instead of glide, and to be able to reach what was normally unreachable (There's a 1-Up Mushroom on the very top of the observatory).

yeah its not a cap, but its not that rare either, you get to use it BEFORE you get the red power star, and its in a house...that you can reach when you open up the garden area...its not that rare lol

Just consider the aspects of Flying Mario. You can fly as high as you want with this power, and it's worth the time restriction to just fly where you want. If you could do that on other levels, it'd make getting stars way too easy.

yeah, its still a very awsome powerup, but im just saying they could have added like...a couple of bonus levels were it had that. like flying threw rings or somthing
