Dunno bout the first question but yes, me and my friend brandon played my other 2 friends at their house, online. . .you can have 2 people online at one location.

Actually I you can Do 3 people online on one wii, me, robby and his lil bro matt played our friend jason today at his house from robby's house.
But i dont think you can have multiple people in "versus everyone mode" online. . .
not sure though.

there is a team thingy a normal brawl, and stadium.
you cant play stages that youve created but you can play normal stages and melee stages
that is all 
i own with ike ive never gotten under 2nd with him 
then again maby they were noobs, who knows XD
