Lokker's View: NiGHTS: Journey of DreamsFrom the old Sega Saturn, to the new Nintendo Wii, it's NiGHTS!
The game itself will probably be flamed by almost anyone with high standards and the controls are a bitch to... well, control! But the more you progress, the more you'll adore that quirky jester!
The basic story is based on the old one, 'cept with diff' characters: You're a boy or girl, who entered the Night Dimension, where all dreamers go to enjoy dreams in Nightopia, or suffer Nightmares in the land of Nightmare (Damien: Ooooooh, how original!), and find out about the battle taking place. Nightmarens have been stealing the 5 powerful attributes of the human heart, called Ideya, and causing Nightopia to slowly break down. You come across a playful, Jester-like character called NiGHTS and find out that you can fuse with NiGHTS using a technique called Dualizing. This way you can use NiGHTS' powers to stop the Nightmarens from capturing Ideya and saving Nightopia from being destroyed. The fun really starts when you obtain Persona, a magical mask that grants beings like NiGHTS to change forms, and start using them to battle your enemies. The dark creator of Nightmare is the evil Wizeman, who controls other Nightmarens, like the creepy clown, called: Donbalon, to ensure no one will try to stop him. The other interesting thing about this game is the ability to collect both Nightopians and Nightmarens to put into your own little world called My Dream, and you can invite friends over through Wii-Fi connection and you can also visit others in the same fashion. The other part of My Dream is that you can send over eggs and A-Life, Nightopians and Nightmarens, to your registered Friend's My Dream. The place changes as you complete your missions and receive cool items from each completed mission, and the surface of your My Dream will also alter itself as you progress through the game.
Graphics: 4/5 It's really good, but some items can't be seen until you get closer.
Controls: 3.9/5 The Controls can be a tad difficult to master, but only if your movements are usually very broad.
Gameplay:4.6/5 The Persona masks are fun to use and you can get full use of the flying if you keep the control movements small.
I'm Lokker Sael Gattez and this has been my view of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams.

You CAN battle but I guess it won't be over WFC.

Wait... you can battle AND race over WFC! The other thing is that your My Dream is also affected by the Weather report on the Weather Channel.
Update: My garden is starting to look pretty badass right now, with so many cute Nightopians and all the cool items I've obtained. My two goals for right now is to locate the remaining Dream Drops and get all A's on my mission rankings.

I've updated the review so it's a little clearer on what to expect. The other thing about Nightopians and Nightmarens is that if you attack a Nightmaren and it hits a Nightopian, both of them will fuse and form an egg. When the egg hatches, it'll look slightly different from a regular Nightopian, but will have some Nightmaren attributes (Damien: Thankfully none of the shitty stuff like destroying items and eating regular Nightopians), in their appearance.
