Mario Kart DSScore: 5/5
Rating: Everyone
Platform: Nintendo DS
Genre: Racing
Mario Kart DS for the nintendo DS is a game that a majority of people can enjoy. Racing or non-racing fan, you will still love playing this game. The single player games include grand prix, time trials (which can be traded across 2 DS's), battle mode, missions, and a few more. Through Grand Prix mode you will unlock a majority of the characters, while expreriencing the 3 different speeds of races: 50cc's, 100cc's, 150cc's, and mirror mode which lets u play the courses with each turn leading the opposite direction. In time trail mode u can race againt your best time with the "Ghost" feature. You can also race against staff ghosts which require excellent times to unlock.
-With battle mode you can either play ballon battle which you are required to pop all of the opponents balloons, or a shine battle. Balloon battles have a unique yet fun way of doing things where u must blow new balloons up.
In Mission mode you will be given certain objectives to do which u must complete to unlock the next. Missions vary anywhere from powersliding, driving thought tires, to defeating large enemies.
-There are a nice range of weapons in the game as well. Weapons vary from locked on items, to items being dropped behind the user. There are some other weapons which do other fancy things too, like shrinking all of the opponents, or squirting there view with black goo.
-Characters in the game along with there kart each have there own skills. However some of the skills seem to not matter as much as others. There are over 30 karts to chose from.
Some people complain about the problems of so called "snakers" which involves one powersiding using boosts over a straight line of course. However, overall Mario Kart DS is an excellent game which almost anyone can enjoy. MKDS supports up to a mighty 8 people over download play which is a blast for playing with your nearby friends even if they dont own they game. This game gets a 5 out of 5.

5/5. Singe player is hard to get 3 stars in everything. Wifi has no hackers or glitchers (that I've played).

I give the game a 4/5. That only problems I have with the game is the lack of karts and the fact that you can't play battle and mission mode with your friends. Also nintendo should've added a driving license{like the hunters license in mph but for mariokart ds}feature for the game. Other than thatt, I've got no problems with the game know why, casue its great.
