my short assasins creed review

alrighty, so this game of course, isnt going to be as good as the ps3 and 360 one. duh, lol. but this game is awsome. so ive finally found a rom, so i was playing it, and it is really good. it has some ok graphics, its 3D. and its kinda sorta 2D. as in its 3D 2D. so heres the only problem i have with it. interigations, and the pit pocketing. those blow. they turned them into mini games, fast ones. so when pick pocketing you end up taking out youre stylus, and rubbing a black screen to find the item youre looking for, draging it out of the bag with the stylus. come on. that didnt have to be there. now interigations. after grabing someone, you have to touch the touch screen in a certain order in a certain time to make him talk.

Other than those 2, the fighting is really good, you can still perform special moves like you could, the fighting is EXTREMLY similar to the 360 and ps3 game, not exactly the same but REALLY REALLY CLOSE. you even get some more moves that the other one didnt have..like 1 extra move.

weapon is awsome. and the controls are really good too. you even get an extra thing that altair uses that he didnt in the other game. a grapling hook.

now here the fun part of the game. FREE RUNNING! free running is just as fun in this game than it is in the ps3 and 360 game! running through the rooftops, and theres a little arrow to help you get threw it so you dont fall off.  so yeah

the fighting is good. the free running is good. cant really roam around a big city though, but its a DS game so its ok. graphics are actually pretty decent. as for the story though, somtimes its really hard to follow it.

i say dont knock this version intell you try it. i tryed it, and its A ok

i'm gonna guess that more ppl are going to download this game than people who buy it. this is gonna be just as long as your review :p

most of the people i know that have a ds have a wii, if any new home console at all. and because of that, they never would have heard of assassins creed.

for the people that have one of the other 2 consoles and a ds, they most likely already bought/rented/played it for the console and would feel that it would not be worth buying for the underpowered ds.

if that's not enough, anyone that has a flash card and can play roms on ds is generally a more hardcore gamer than the average brain age/nintendogs playing ds owner. this crowd would most likely have played it on a console already and liked it, so they download it to try it out.

i doubt if many other people out there have morals like mine and buy it if they think they'll play it for more than a couple days, but really, the only games i've found myself buying lately have been from nintendo (advance wars and zelda, if that's close enough to be seen as recent). i haven't gotten around to playing assassins creed on ds yet, mostly because i feel like i fit into the group that's played the console version, but i guess ubisoft wouldn't have made it if they didn't think they could make money off it...(the point of the giant post)

well the reviews on the game are actually ok, so yeah. its gona be nothing like the assasains creed game for the 360 or ps3, (ive played it and beaten it and loved it) but its somthing decent to play

and heres the thing, i seriusly dought that ubisoft put an assasains creed game on the DS just because they could make a little more money. i say that because alot of people are saying thats the only reason. no, thats not it AT ALL. the game for the DS is very well made. and it looks like they actually took time to make it, considering its all 3D, and they added puzzles and stuff, and has a story, and is really fun. this game doesnt feel half assed. sure its not the same as the console versions, but im saying its still really good. the only problem i have with the game is its dialog, only thing that seems a little half assed

heres a bottom line on how good the game is

i say if they made a prince of persia game for the DS and have it have the exact same graphics, exact same gameplay, it would own.

here ign can explain exactly how it is better than i can

Im not going to over analyze this. . .

but I honestly think that certain games should not be put on the nintendo DS. . .

That game is credited for its depth and its spectacular graphics. . .I mean no offense to anyone who cant afford a next gen system like PS3 or Xbox 360,

But I honestly would never buy this game for ds.

I stated this not to take anything away from Bkonch's and Dan's review on the game, just my personal opinion after playing a decent bit of it for the PS3 on HDTV

lol yeah, thing is, i would never buy this game. bkonch is right, i only played it (because i got supercard) and I like it, but i would never buy it. but im only puting this review for people who were thinking about buying this game(if there were any) but yeah the original game kicks ass and blows this game away, but just saying, its still pretty decent.

also, it plays like prince of persia. ign.com said that, and its true. If they put a prince of persia on the DS, and made it play like this game. it would kick sooooo much ass because they would add more things.
