oh.......my god....i played mario galaxy, heres what i thotit reaches my expectations. ok first off, completly forget the graphics you see in magazines, and videos on ign.com, it really REALLY looks 100% more awsome when you play it live, you can really really apreciate it more. so heres what i did
ok first off the controls, amazing, you can really aim and shoot while running around at the same time, so the wii mote point function works 100% awsomeness, the controls are pretty self explainitory, A for jump, numchuck to move around, press Z and B at the same time to do that leap forward, shake the numbchuck to spin around, really really simple.
I was playing for an hour, about an hour, the difficulty is higher than sunshine, i say this because, if youre not careful, you can get hurt, also you only have 3 things of life, you get hit 3 times, youre done, of course though, coins are health. so i played threw the honey bee galaxy, and the first one dont remember what its called, but its teh one with pety pirana, so
i played the 2 levels after that, ones you havnt seen yet, or chances are havnt, the 2nd level is longer than the first, you have to get 100 star bits and feed them to a thing that eats them, now chances are you wont have 100 star bits when you first see him, most i had was 50, so beyond him was a series of trails that led to different little planets, that was fun, blasting randomly to different parts of the planets getting starbits, but in the end it led all the way back to the guy, so once you get the starbits to the guy, you think he would turn into a star, or give you one? well he doesnt, instead theres more to the level, he blasts you off to a sidescrolling like world that was in the shape of a pill, you go into the pill and theres a gravity thing that once you go into it, depending were its pointing you go up or down, so after thats done you get blasted off to a star planet, were you get blue star shards, were you have to keap constantly pulling mario towards the star to end the level.
so that was awsome, there was one other level, that one had the volcano boss wich i, unfortunatly didnt get to play because some other guy had to play. youve all seen the honey bee galaxy, so really that was all of the demo, except the boss, after an hour of playing it, you should get around to 8 stars....yeah it takes that long, (i lost count of the time when this little kid was playing, so an hour might be exagerating it, but it was still like 45-60 minutes) after that long 8 stars, equiled the first major boss fight were you get a grand star, from the giant robot thing on that small world, you all saw that, dont need to explain it you all seen it
so really i cant really tell what my score is of the game so far, all i know is, ign.com, gametrailers, gamespot, were all right and they were NOT exajerationg AT ALL when it comes to this game, its not like sunshine, its pretty much can be raped in this one simple sentence: It is TRUELY the real sequal to mario 64.

yes, people who wouldnt give this game that much credit are Xbox 360 or ps3 fan boys, if not people who just simply dont like mario, but thats it,
the graphics are perfect, the camera angles are perfect, and you can change camera angles with the + pad, just perfect, its the best mario game EVER! the 8 levels i played were more fun than mario 64 and defently better than mario sunshine, mario sunshine had a lack of levels, but with the 40 plus galaxys i think that makes it more insain and fun.

Ha, hey i saw this post somewhere else before. >.> man, this game sounds sweet as heck. Your prolly right, it's mario, it's nintendo's best, it's gotta be the best!

I bought a PS3 and it was definitely worth the buy especially for Ratchet and Clank and stuff and im not against mario but I played it in a store where you can test the game and it was ok. . .
i mean the graphics arent something to marvel over but I guess if you keep an open mind about the game it should be fun.

alls i knows is the ratings, and reviews are high and THIS IS THE NUMBER 1 REASON TO GET A Wii or TO OWN A WII AT THIS MOMENT
you really cant compare the wii to a xbox 360 or a ps3, i mean thats not fair at all, the wii is ment for more gameplay and the way how to play it is more for its graphics. but the reason that this game is Such an awsome thing is because for 1, its better than mario 64, defently better than mario sunshine, and if you still think 64 is better you can say its defently the TRUE brother to mario 64, but the reason the graphics are a big deal is because its the wii, the graphics are sooooooo smooth, and soooo good, that it surprises people, its perfect, absolutly 100% perfect, and you can truely apreciate why nintendo decided to make the hardware the way it is. thats why the graphics to this game is a marvel to behold.....also its sound quality is awsome because its orchistrated.
