Rant ThreadI won't sticky this, mainly because I'm not sure how many of you are pissed off about something you "encountered". My only grievance is this: If any of you find an Ike player online, winning a bunch of matches, do me the favor of stopping at nothing and TAKING THAT FUCKER DOWN A PEG!!!! I've spent several matches and being beaten by that jerk for one too many times! Damien: What Lokker means is that there has been an Ike player (and I do mean Ike-player) that has been humiliating him for 5 or so matches. I seriously wish I could find the fucker and beat his ass, but Lokker wouldn't let me or the other guy take over, otherwise he'd be in massive shock

Ikes, ya... they're funny as fuck to fight. Truth be told they can win matches against me and I won't mind you wish to know why? Because out of all of them I've seen they couldn't have taken me down in a 1 vs 1.

Damien: I meant Ike-Player in the most literal sense. Every time Lokker's ass got beat it was because that schmuck never changed his character from Ike. Ike has some sweet moves and it's cheap as hell when you deal with an Ike-newbie. For me, as well as Lokker, the terms "player" and "user" have different meanings, Players just choose the strongest characters and abuse all their techniques, while users can actually find the best format and style to make any character a powerful force.

Ikes are slow as fuck though, take your time and you can win.
the only fast attacks they have are thier side B and back air.

It may be because Mach tornado makes Ike worthless but, I've honestly never had a problem against Ikes. And I'm playing as Metaknight almost any attack from Ike will kill Metaknight even if he has 0 Damage.
But I'd like to share this quote I found

Well, thats when Ike's at his deadliest, when people are just leaving him alone. Why? Because he can only make a jab or two on a group and kill all of them. The main thing that people will need to learn is that an Ike is your main target in any fight.

ive never had problems with ikes. they usually spam moves so theyre extrmely predictable and easy too gimp their recovery..most dont even know how tto recover anyways

you really have to think ahead a lot more when you play online. the lag actually gives it more of a strategy element

Still if it freezes up completely, you have a few seconds to either figure out what to do, or find out your ass is disconnected.
