IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! the second and third werent ass good as the 1st one, just my personal opinion (altho NEMESIS was unbelievable in RE 2), but yea, the 3rd was awesome. Extinction just seeemed to end tho, like abruptly, therefore, cant wait for RE 4 to come out. :P

I absolutely hated the first one, it was one of the lamest movies I have ever seen. The second one wasn't too bad, but still wasn't anything different than other zombie movies, so I really don't expect to be wowed by this one either. I just hope I am wrong.

Lamer than Super Mario Bros. The Movie? Wait, I liked that movie (Damien: Even though the single, most horrible thing was the fact that the writers never played the game enough... Don't call a retarded dino a Goomba, seriously... and I don't mean Yoshi!).

alrighty then heres my reviews on the movies. alright
first one, it was ok, it followed the story pretty well they didnt mess anything up, the licker was cool and the way they killed it seemed like a way to kill a boss in a resident evil game so the end was really resident evily, although the whole girl doing the matrix thing kinda dropted it down some, cause that was just stupid. i give the first movie a 7-10, cause it was ok, everything in the movie was in the game, except the original characters. ok, now heres my review on 2
SUCKED, horribly, it was awfull, nemises was a PANSY. he just walked around, sure he looked cool, with his gatling gun, but when it really got to the fight with nemises, HE WAS A PANSY, i meen come on! HE GOT PIMPED SMACKED TO DEATH!! you cant pimp smack nemises! he would grab you by the neck and throw you or stab you with his tenticle thing! not just stand there and take it! and if you nocked him out, hes got a regeneration thing in him, he cant die practicly, thats what made him a pain in resident evil 3! plus they screwed up jills character alot, this movie was awful the first one was way better. that movie i have to give it a 3-10, that movie wasnt as true to the story as the first one was.
I havnt seen the 3rd one yet, but it might be better cause it has a different director.
but in my opionion the BEST video game movie EVER, is silent hill, that movie is INCREDIBLE, the characters, the story, everything was like perfect, if you never new this was a game you'd swear to god that the game is based off the movie instead of the other way around, becouse thats how true to the story silent hill was. only difference, was the main person was a girl instead of a guy, but still doesnt matter they pulled it off and it was great. that movie is 10/10 for good dialoge, great story, great actors, everything

however, asside from fucking all these video game adaptions up, the movie they really fucked up, LIKE REALLY FUCKED UP, AND I SAY THIS BECAUSE I'M A HUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGEEEE FAN OF THESE GAMES, HECK CHECK MY USERNAME AND U'LL SEE, is the Doom movie!! I MEAN DAMMIT, my favorite games of allll timmeeee, i had such high expectations for it........heck it was just a typical horror movie. the story was bullcrap!!!!!.....had absolutely nothing to do with the Doom 3 game except for the name of the organization (UAC), the gun (BFG), and the fact that it took place on mars. but damn, the acting, the story........and just the whole feeling that the game gave to u wasn't in the movie. IT WAS THE WORSTE VIDEO GAME ADAPTATION, after DOA that is.....heck nothing was wors then DOA. Doom wasn't even scary!!! the only thing i actually enjoyed in Doom is that scene where for about 2 min., they turn the game into a 1st person shooter perspective (because i do believe it's the first time anyone has done that...) and i rather enjoyed seeing that girl....the sister of the main guy in the movie....cuz she was pretty hot.
i gotta hand it to u The Hunter....Silent Hill was amazing......everything was copied exactly from the game, and everything was just the way it should have been. i mean heck, it was just amazing....and the creatures in the movie were amazing...exactly the way they were in the game...The best thing i love about Silent Hill the movie is that music/sound u here in it which they copied exact from the game....that music always freaked the crap outta when i heard it in the game, and actually hearing the same thing in the movie was thrilling. and i can actually say that Silent Hill was scary. THE BEST VIDEO GAME ADAPTATION EVER: Silent Hill

I don't think that the first movie follows the game whatsoever.........(the hive? Alice? wtf?) but I have to agree that the silent hill movie is amazing! It is by far the best game based movie I have ever seen.

If i could make a re movie, id base it off the books, now the RE books are AMAZING!! if you havnt read em, go to youre nearest books n co and get one, i got the re3 book, i read it, it was amazing,

it doesnt necisarily mean itll suck
video game stories arent meant to be made into movies
therefore they have to make movies loosely based on the ideas of the game
this usually leads them to suck

and doom master, reading the books is kinda like playing the game, really, it has every detail thats in the game, basicly if you read the book you will know what to do in the game, see if they made that into a movie they COULD make it amazing

You what would be great turned into a movie? The Suffering 2..........that game scared the living hell outta me!!!! i want them to make a movie on that....how like these things infest a jail and this guy is trying to survive and all. great idea for a movie.
can't wait for the Halo movie either....directed by Steven Spelberg....WOOT!
