Should i really but a 360???i have been reading on the internet and i saw complaining that the 360 freezes a lot, scratches ur discs, and has the red ring of death. can anybody tell me if its really worth buying??

hahahahaha, freezes...NO, scratches...wtf? no. ring of death.....yes but you can get a free warrenty and if any problems you can send it in a fix it up for free, but gota get that warrenty in first, but the red ring of death just says that theres a problem and doesnt neccacarly mean that it cant be fixed by you. but freezes and scratches..i never EVER heard that, and it doesnt |

yeah i was on gamestop reading the reviews for it and ppl were saying it sscratches discs and freezes a lot but maybe there just a bunch of playstation fanboys | ||

Ithink they are fanboys then, because my dad has one and me and my bro play it all the time when we go up there. It doesn't scratch the discs, that is their dumbasses doing that lol. The whole freezing deal is it overheating. If you have it in a cramped area it is going to overheat, but once you put it in a good spot it wont anymore. | ||

My Xbox 360 totally scratched up the outer rim of my Viva Pinata disc, but it still plays perfectly fine. I've had a couple instances of audio skipping during Gears of War, but they were extremely minimal and forgivable. As for the rings of death which I hear are maybe from over-heating, I would think you would be fine as long as you leave the system out in a spot where it has plenty of air to breathe (not in a tiny congested shelf). | ||

I like it because it is a new twist for the simulation genre and it can be fun trying to get everything. However, it doesn't quite have the longevity of grade-A simulators and the game has annoying little glitches sometimes (I know it isn't just my copy of the game either). Overall I'd say it is about an 8 out of 10, and a step in the right direction for diversifying the Xbox brand's library of games, which is overloaded with generic shooting games. |
