Since the idea of a tournament for SSBB will, inevitably, pop into someone's head, would it be possible to hold a prize for winning? You guys can see the idea in the sticky I put up.

Yep. He makes his exit.
It’s probably better to just shoot all your rounds rather than run out of time leaving ammo behind...but if you just shoot indiscriminately, your shots may be dodged.
When there are two or more enemies, it might be a good idea to hit one as he is being attacked by the other, or something along those lines.

Here are a few things I found out: You can collect ship pieces to make a bitchin' ride from Kirby Air Ride, and they may allow spectators to watch the battles, so it may make the battles easier. You can also make tournaments! This'll be so sweet!

it hasnt been moved, gamestop.com says the 10th of feburary just like every other game store, and the official website says feburary 10th, Sometimes even people at gamestores get there facts wrong, and thats really wrong lol.
And like i said, its not going to be pushed back again... when there are japaneze T.V spots for the japaneze release, its confirmed 100% only way it would get pushed back would be by 1 day because of the possability of shipping error, like metroid prime 3 had

mario galaxy didnt, and the release date for metroid prime 3 was actually pushed 1 day. This game is supposed to come out on a sunday wich means theres probly going to be a street date,
so yeah. it wasnt pushed back. the guy was wrong. also i called them up earlyer today and asked them about that because i was trying to find out wich was better to get it from, gamestop or gamecrazy. and they both said february 10th.
ive asked questions like that before, they looked on the computer, and told me somthin, then later i find out that it was complete bull crap.

gamefly was the first to put up a new date...
i'm making an assumption that they did it because that's when they can guarantee they'll be able to get the game to the million or so customers who are frothing at the mouth with anticipation.
i'm making another assumption that other companies saw that and changed when THEY thought it would be coming.

well ill belive it when the official site says it. but theres absolutly no reason it should get delayed again, there are freakin japanaze T.V spots for it, meaning the game is pretty much done, and all they gots to do is make it english and send it.
this is weird, though, lokker, ive called up different places and the release dates are different, then i called gamecrazy again, and they said that the dates been jumping around, but its still febuary the 10th, because smash bros website says that, and they update it every day so if it gets pushed back it would say so. a couple days ago they said different though lol. gamecrazy told me that it jumped to march 1st, then back to february 10th.
so really there just tryin to figure things out makin sure, but it IS goin to be here on february 10th,, i also got the NEW EGM magazine, super smash bros brawl edition, and they said its comin out on the 10th so yeah
Well, I'll check with EB Games on the day it's supposed to be out and if they change it to March 1st, it'll definitely suck.

And against what Sakuria stated in his message to ign, i really don't think they're adding anything. the game is done. They just don't want to have a huge shortage of disks.
the release dates they previously had would have worked, but the level of hype for this game is unworldly. they pushed it back only so they could fill all the preorder numbers and still have a few sit on the shelves for a couple minutes each shipment.
I just called last night at 8:15 to preorder it. They ASSURED me it would release on feb. 10th with a midnight delay. but they were wrong...
A gamestop in a town of 2,500 people (extremely small) has nearly 150 orders! if you think about it for a bit... that's huge!!!
At least no money came from my pocket to preorder it. I didn't even have to drive 60 (30 there and back) miles to get it! I had MP3 preordered but never picked it up (my wal-mart had it a day early) I just had them transfer it :p

Well, according to GameFAQS.com, the game release date has been move. It gets worse, because instead of March 1st, it'll be March 9th. Damien: I can't help but hear a bugle play that one sad song you hear at almost every army funeral. Seriously, this sucks more than anything I've been through... this is going to be one major mindfuck if it's true!

well, i pretty much confirmed it...
the delay is purely to fill the reservation bills for all the stores...
i called 5 game stores in the sharon/hermitage, pa area. all of them have rediculously large amounts of people reserving it.
call the places arount you and ask if they'll tell you how many people are doing it.
you'll be pretty surprised
