Metal gear Solid is like the only franchise of that sort ididnt play. . im sure its good though.

Hey, icy, you gota metal gear fan in me, i love metal gear solid. beat all 3 of them. Its one of the games that i want to get once i get a ps3. Its just a great series cause its a sneaking game and has a great story and combat system etc.

Well I have played one of them on MSX it was amazing , haven't played them all though.

But the main thing is that Hideo Kojima is the person that 'DEFINED' the stealth genre.

When he first thought up this idea everyone laughed at him , the idea of not shooting anyone but actually hiding.

I totally agree , with you too kabal some great games there , I enjoy splinter cell.

But It wont ever be as good as MGS for me, the immersive story line that Hideo creates is amazing , simply amazing.

eh I never liked it, but I did play it. It was ok, When I think of stealth I think of tenchu games, i don't like tomany shoot'em stealths...but oh well.

I dont doubt your statement one bit, you have pretty good taste in games. I've always wanted to go back and play through the series and im sure i will this summer =]. I absolutely love a good storyline.

You should have seen the G4 Icons video's with Hideo , he is amazing.

Konami let IGN play the game before release , cant trust game review sites too much though they can be bias , but this seems fine DX

Metal gear solid, you dont have to hide, heres describing the first game. the Point of the game is to try and sneek. But at the same time kill. you have to kill to sneek. you are trying to stop the metal gear project which was stolen by a terrist group, or somthing like that. Great story, great boss battles, awsome boss battles. and bad ass characters. like grey fox, or phyco mantis.

its just soo cool cause its 1 man, infiltrating a Base, and shutting down an operation. and the story is cool, only problem i have is huge cutscenes.
