what classic games would you like to see on the virtual console?

I really don't care what all of you want to see personally. I'm really just posting this because i want everyone here to tell them 2 kick ass snes rpg's. if you couldn't guess them just by being a member here for a while and knowing a little bit about me, or even just by being alive and aware of what a video game was back when the super nintendo ruled my life, you're probably a little bit retarded...

but i'll say it anyway. EVERYONE THAT IS READING THIS, SEND AN E-MAIL TO vcpoll@futureus.com AND TELL THEM YOU WANT SUPER MARIO RPG AND CHRONO TRIGGER ON THE VIRTUAL CONSOLE NOW!!!! they'll accept up to 5 suggestions per e-mail, so if you yourself want to post more than 3, you better send another e-mail. and if you want to tell them more than 6, it's time to make a 3rd.

the 2 i want are sort of in the same boat as that, only not at such an extreme level...

there's sort of a big legal issue with them all. with mine, it's just square enix being greedy and waiting too long to milk thier old games for more money. probably just waiting for some time when business gets slow and/or they run out of ideas for new stuff.

with goldeneye, it's the ideas that rare is loyal to microsoft now and nintendo still owns some of the rights to the game. nintendo has had plans for some time to have goldeneye put on the vc, but ms wouldn't allow it. equally, rare made an updated verion for the 360 arcade, but nintendo prevented them from releasing it because they couldn't have it....throw in the fact that the game's original producer acclaim gave up the james bond rights, and now we have 5 companies that all want to make money out of it, but don't want to share the massive profits with any others. the only thing that kept an awesome classic game from being available to owners of both systems is the corporate greed of all these rival companies

All the Earthbound Games and all the Fire Emblem Games that were not released in the US.

I mean seriously, if they're going to give us SSB players that are known in Japan only then convert them to the US. I also believe the vertual console would be a great way for them to do that.

Bkonch, I heard a rumor that they are planning to re make Super mario RPG on the DS.

that might me a reason it wasent released on the VC yet.

O and Chrono trigger FTW, we need that game on it.

Nah they hosted it there but I didnt participate in it.

Only Blading Sword was released in the U.S. which if I am right thats FE6 or FE7.... I think 7. All the ones before it never were.
