Riviera: The Promised Land

This 2004 sleeper-hit is coming to the PSP from the GBA! It is one hell of an RPG, with dating sim elements and four girls to choose from(though this is based on mechanics I can't begin to understand), with 6(!) endings.

It featured some pretty innovative stuff, such as a look mode, where you'll use Trigger Points to perform actions, and a move mode, where you go to another sector of your current area.

The battle system had you choosing up to three characters, and four weapons/items. They break down over uses, save for one, which you'll have throughout the game. You had an overdrive meter, which raised when you were attacked and when you attacked, and could be used to pull of special moves. Enemies had the rage meter, which increased their attack under a similar system to your overdive meter, but when it reaches max, prepare for something ugly!

In a addition to all of Rivi GBA's old stuff, plus updates graphics and full-voice acting, It has an extra chapter, but I think that's just not enough to warrant getting this game If you already got it on the GBA.
